Unified Workforce’s internship and apprenticeship is a program where one explores a career opportunity. The individual discovers if that career matches their professional goal. The individual attains an academic credit or compensates with an hourly cost. There is a curriculum that one needs to finish in the duration of their program.
Internship and apprenticeship is the beginning of one’s career – learn, absorb and see if that is meant for you.
Unified Workforce’s coach pairs a companies peer mentor with each mentee. The peer mentor’s objectives are to provide guidance, motivation, emotional support and role modeling in a personal aspect. They also may help the mentee with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts and identifying resources in the work environment.
